These teaser posters contain typical conventions of a thriller poster. The conventions are a large image to capture the audiences attention, the release date in large letters, and the title of the film. The posters use miminal content as not to give away too much of the narrative but are affective at capturing an audiecne. They are kept guessing about the film and hence the audience are being thrilled. The poster has no credit block typically and the release date is not accurate so that the audience are teased. They both have a theme of dark blue or black colours which are typically assocaited with the dark thriller genre. The main image is disturbing and intrguing which captures the audience. I especially like the ‘the eye’ poster as it has the actress name above the film so this is the USP of the film. Not only are people captured by the title of the film and image but the actor too. I also like the final destenation teaser poster as the release date is kept a secret but by displaying the month the audience know the month it will be released. The audience are then effectively teased. Also by the release date being in a different colour it is another thing the audiecne are drawn to to remember the poster and hence the film.
